Darfur News Update

Just a couple of things for now:
- PHR recently protested Sudan’s nomination of Ahmed Haroun, a suspected war criminal, to co-chair a national committee investigating human rights abuses in Sudan’s Darfur region (PHR).
- The International aid agency, Oxfam, whose humanitarian operation in Darfur is one of its largest in the world, says that it will have to pull out of the region if the conflict continues to escalate (BBC).
