With the South and Midwest Regional Advocacy Institutes only a month away, here are some updates on the Institutes’ programs, logistics, and publicity. South Regional Institute (September 26 at Meharry Medical School, Nashville, TN)

Presenter Update: Dr. Joseph Interrante, CEO of Nasvhille Cares, was confimed to open the Institute! Read about Dr. Interrante’s groundbreaking work with Nashville CARES. With Dr. Interrante opening and Dr. Sten Vermund, Director of the Institute for Global Health at Vanderbilt, closing, we look forward to an educational and engaging day! Check out this Institute’s agenda.

Midwest Regional Institute (September 26 at Rush University, Chicago, IL)

Presenter Update: We are excited to announce that Dr. Ken Fox will open the Midwest Institute! Dr. Fox is a pediatrician and medical anthropologist committed to making a preferential option for the poor in health care.
